James Mathews Becomes Executive Director of The Carrollton New Orleans

We are proud to welcome James (Jim) Mathews as Executive Director of The Carrollton New Orleans. Since joining The Carrollton mid-last year, Jim has brought energy, expertise, and a genuine passion for senior living to our historic community.

With more than 15 years of healthcare leadership, Jim has guided communities across assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and behavioral health. A Louisiana State University graduate with an MBA, he is also a licensed nursing facility administrator and a mentor to fellow administrators.

Jim was drawn to The Carrollton for its unique blend of history and heart. “It’s magical to care for people while keeping history alive,” he said. He’s focused on resident happiness, operational excellence, and making The Carrollton the premier senior living destination on the Gulf Coast.
