He holds a Master’s degree in Gerontology from the University of Southern California. Sai Raj is driven by a profound passion for enriching the lives of older adults. He has dedicated his career to emphasizing the biopsychosocial aspects of aging and their profound impact on the well-being of the individuals he serves. His life mantra, ‘when our life purpose changes from competition to contribution, it becomes a celebration,’ reflects his commitment to fostering a culture of care, compassion, and celebration within our community.

With over 26 years of nursing experience, Rachel is a beacon of expertise and compassion in the healthcare field. As a certified dementia practitioner, she excels in geriatrics, hospice care, home health, medical-surgical nursing, primary care, and senior living. Rachel’s true passion lies in working with seniors, where she finds immense joy in bringing love, compassion, and happiness to their lives. Outside of her professional life, Rachel cherishes moments with her family and enjoys diving into the pages of a good book.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Justin Churchwell has called the New Orleans area home for nearly a decade. With a background in education spanning 16 years, he transitioned his career to focus on his newfound passion for working with seniors. Over the past several years, Justin has immersed himself in activities within Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care settings. He thrives on reimagining the landscape of senior living activities, constantly experimenting with fresh ideas and innovative approaches. Justin’s meticulous attention to detail ensures that person-centered care remains at the forefront of his endeavors. Committed to creating enriching and memorable experiences for residents at The Carrollton, he finds fulfillment in brightening their days and learning about their unique life journeys.
