Our new memory care resident at The Carrollton has been enjoying time staying active and participating in exercise within the community.
Moments like these highlight the importance of movement for older adults, especially those living with memory loss. Gentle, consistent physical activity can support mobility, encourage engagement, and help promote overall well-being. Just as importantly, it provides opportunities for connection, confidence, and joy in the everyday routine.
We are grateful to see residents finding comfort and purpose through activities that support both the body and mind in such meaningful ways.

When our residents requested a lunch outing to Porter & Luke’s, we were happy to make it happen! What started as a small group quickly grew, with 17 residents joining us for a wonderful afternoon of great food, conversation, and time together.
The smiles around the table said it all—this outing was a big hit, and we loved seeing everyone enjoy a favorite local spot.

A taste of New Orleans and an afternoon well spent. Residents recently enjoyed a lunch outing to the iconic Parkway Bakery & Tavern, a local favorite known for its legendary po'boys. From savory roast beef to delicious shrimp po'boys, the group savored every bite while sharing great conversation and enjoying one of the city's most beloved dining traditions.
